1 vocational college with vocational grammar school

Rüsselsheim is part of the Rhein-Main region of knowledge with the Rhine-Main University
with predominantly degree courses in technological subjects in the areas of:

Information technology and electrical engineering
Mechanical engineering
Physics
Environmental technology and services

and currently over 2,500 students in Rüsselsheim.

The city of Rüsselsheim and the Rhine-Main University cooperate closely in many areas,
e.g., education and culture, student projects and the dialogue with the industry.

In addition, there are another 8 state universities with degree courses in the humanities and
the sciences, as well as in the arts and in music.
